POONCH: The Deputy Commissioner, Poonch, Mohammad Hussain Malik this morning saw off the second batch of 57 pilgrims from district Poonch for Haj-2014. In all 17 pilgrims each from Haveli and Surankote and 20 from Mendhar left for Srinagar this morning.
Malik interacted with the pilgrims, congratulated them and requested them to pray for the peace and development of the State particularly the district of Poonch. He also wished them success and smooth performance of Manasik-e-Haj. The Deputy Commissioner had seen off the first batch of 41 pilgrims on Tuesday.
Assistant District Development Commissioner, Arvind Sharma and Additional Deputy Commissioner, Mumtaz Ali Chowdhary also congratulated them and asked them to pray for the peace and prosperity of the nation.
