SRINAGAR: Badminton tournament organised by IRP 6th Bn under Civic Action Programme at Sher-e-Kashmir Indoor Sports Stadium, here concluded on Thursday.
About 200 players under the age of 14, 17 and 19 years participated in the tournament.
In under 13 (girls/boys) Serish and Aman Mir while in under 15 Singles Madeeha and Sharanveer Singh emerged as winners.
Under-17 (girls/boys) Dua Abid and Mohammad Issa while under 19 Injeela and Asif Farooq emerged as winners.
In singles (Women/Men) Azra and Aadan emerged as winners while in doubles (Men’s) Aadan and Nisar emerged as winners.
In the closing ceremony, DIG Armed/IRP Kashmir Rafiq-ul-Hassan was the Chief Guest who distributed trophies among the winner and runner-up players.
Among others Commandant IRP 6th Bn S.S Kotwal, SSP Railway Dilip Kumar, Commandant JKAP 9th Bn Hanid-ul-Lah and Adjutant IRP 6th Bn Tahir Ashraf Bhatti were present.
