Five injured in accidents

SRINAGAR: Five persons were injured in different road accidents in the Valley on Tuesday.
In Anantnag, a motorcycle bearing registration number JK03A-0928 driven by Aadil Ahmad Bhat, resident of Malangpora Pulwama collided with a Tavera bearing registration number JK03C/9405 driven by Zahoor Ahmad Wani, resident of Ashmuqam at KP Road in the jurisdiction of Police Station Mattan, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
In Handwara, a Maximo vehicle bearing registration number JK09A-2078 driven by Javaid Ahmad Sheikh, resident of Chogal skidded off the road at village Krampora in the jurisdiction of Police Station Vilgam, resulting in injuries to driver of the vehicle. The injured was shifted to District Hospital Handwara.
In Ganderbal, an auto load carrier bearing registration number JK16-3732 driven by Imtiyaz Ahmad Rather, resident of Haripora collided with a sumo bearing registration number JK07-1219 at Nunner, resulting in injuries to auto driver and a pedestrian lady namely Noora Begum, resident of Nunner. Both the injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital Ganderbal for treatment where from they were shifted to SMHS Hospital, Srinagar for further treatment.
In Srinagar, a Wagon-R car bearing registration number JK01S-6766 driven by Ashiq Majid resident of Rajbagh skidded off the road near CM residence in the jurisdiction of Police Station RM Bagh, resulting in injuries to the driver. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
Police have registered all the case in respective police Stations.
