Jammu: First Mufti Mohd Sayeed Memorial State Wrestling Competition organized by Bhartiya Viyamshalla Akhada Diwan Mandir Jammu in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir State Sports Council under Khelo India Scheme concluded at Mini Stadium Parade Ground, here.
Eighty wrestlers from eight districts of Jammu and Kashmir State participated in three days event.
the top three winner of respective categories were awarded with a cash prizes Rs 3,000, Rs 2,000 and Rs 1,000 along with medals and certificates respectively.
Shiv Kumar Sharma, Joint Secretary, J and K State Sports Council and President J and K Indian Style Wrestling Association was the Guest of Honour.
Yogeshwar Singh Sarpanch and President District Samba J and K Indian Style Wrestling Association was the special guest.
Bouts were officiated by Mulakh Raj Sharma, Om Parkash, Krishan Singh, Bansi Lal Tidyal, Quassim Din, Govind Singh, Kulveer Singh, Allah Mai, Sanjeev Kumar Sharma and Krishan Lal Sharma.
Prominent among others present on the occasion included Prem Choudhary Chairman Jammu Kashmir Indian Style wrestling Association, Vinay Sharma, R.K Maini, Bulkaar
Singh, Prem Kumar,
Bodh Raj. Rakesh Khajuria, Organising Secretary of the event conducted the proceedings of the programme.
The three days event concluded with the vote of thanks by R.K Maini veteran wrestler and Senior Vice President of Jammu Kashmir Wrestling Association.

42 Kg: Muskeen Ali (Rajbagh) 1st, Ankit Basotra (Diwan Mandir) 2nd and Anku Sharma (Jammu City) 3rd. 46 Kg: Abhishek Singh (Samba) 1st, Kuldeep Singh (Reasi) 2nd and Samahoom (Rajbagh) 3rd. 50 Kg: Shakti Singh (Jammu Rural) 1st, Ankush Saini (Jammu Rural) 2nd and Ravi Singh (Reasi) 3rd. 55 KG: Habib (Rajbagh) 1st, Bagh Ali (Kathua) 2nd and Manjeet Singh (Jammu Rural) 3rd. 60 kg: Sonu.. (rajbagh) 1st, Subash Singh (Reasi) 2nd and Sunil (Samba) 3rd. 66 Kg: Saleem (Rajbagh) 1st Farman Ali (Kathua) 2nd and Deepak Saini (Jammu Rural) 3rd. 74 kg: Farooq (rajbagh) 1st, Latief (Kathua) 2nd and Sahil Sharma (Reasi) 3rd.
