SRINAGAR: Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Goshbugh won the Inter School Football tournament organised by IRP 20th Bn under Civic Action Programme at Sports Ground, Degree College Pattan, here on Tuesday.
In the final GHSS Goshbugh defeated Government High School (GHS) Hamray and lifted the trophy.
In all, 18 teams of various government and private institutes participated in the tournament.
In the closing ceremony, Commandant IRP 20th Bn A.R Bhat, Principal Degree College Pattan and ZEO Pattan presented the trophies to the winner and runner up teams, besides, distributed mementoes, certificates and sports equipments to the participating teams.
Among others CO 29 RR, CO IRP 3rd Bn, principals and headmasters of participating teams were also present.
