NOWSHERA: Police on Tuesday foiled bovine smuggling bids by rescuing seven bovines by arresting two smugglers.
According to a report, during the intervening night of 27th -28th March 2017, on a specific information In-Charge Police Post Lamberi SI Varuneshwar Singh laid a Naka/checking at Dandsar forest and Lamberi. During Naka checking, police rescued seven bovines and arrested two bovine smugglers namely Rakesh Kumar son of Basudev resident of Phali and Mohd Rashid son of Dil Mohd resident of Khadrian.
A case vide FIR Nos. 44/2017 and 47/2017 under section 188 RPC was registered at Police Station Nowshera.
