SRINAGAR: Government High School (GHS) Gund Khaja Qasim defeated Madina Public School Baliharan and won the inter-school volleyball tournament organised by IRP 16th Bn at Armed Complex Parihaspora, here on Monday.
In all, eight teams from different schools of Zone Singhpora participated in the tournament.
In the closing ceremony, Principal SSM College of Engineering and Technology Parihaspora, Prof. Nazir Ahmad Shah was the Chief Guest who honoured winner and runner up teams with trophies and certificates. He also distributed the sports kits among the participating schools.
