JAMMU: Fulfilling the long pending demand of people of Jammu, a direct flight from Chandigarh has been introduced. The daily flight operated by Indigo Airlines shall depart from Chandigarh at 2:10 PM and reach Jammu at 2:50 PM while flight leaving Jammu at 3:25 PM will land in Chandigarh at 4:05 PM.
Airport Director Devender Kumar Gautam and SSP Antihijacking Rajinder Gupta along with Station Manager Indigo Airlines were present at the time of inauguration of the first flight here on Sunday.
Airport Director, Devender Kumar Gautam informed that in coming days few more destinations like Kolkata and Amritsar shall also be connected with Jammu via direct flights.
