Rohingyas issue: Shiv Sena takes out protest rally

SUNDERBANI : The Shiv Sena Bal Thackrey held a strong protest and took out a bike rally led by its District Chairman Rakesh Suden at Sunderbani on Sunday. They protested against the wrong policies of the Coalition Government which is illegally accommodating the Rohingyas at the cost of Jammuites.
Sudan pointed out that the Rohingyas have been given the voter cards and also the ration cards by the government for the political reason which is going to create a long lasting impact on the socio-economic condition of the State, particularly the Jammu province besides the demographic impact.
He further pointed out that during the present regime the anti-national and anti-social activities besides corruption have increased jeopardising the safety and security of the citizens. He also pointed out that while the maximum employment goes to the Valley, the Jammu youths are the victim of unemployment.
The Spokesman Rajouri – Poonch Madan Lal Verma demanded immediate change in the retirement age of the government employees which should be between 50 to 55 years only so as to give employment to the youth.
Verma further pointed out that the revenue authorities under present government are harassing the refugees by not completing their claims for payment of compensation and also creating hurdles in the matter of land and custodian property in their possession.
The speakers said that if the government does not provide fair justice to the people of Jammu, the Shiv Sena will launch an agitation at large scale. Prominent among those present include District President Pishori Lal Sharma, ZorawarSingh, Block president, Yashpaul Seth and Mohd Farooq.
