JAMMU: Jammu Rising Stars won the third consecutive match in five-match cricket evaluation series, organised by Jammu Sports Council and J and K Sports Promoters Club Jammu at Parade Ground, here on Saturday
In today’s match, Jammu Rising Stars defeated Vishal Jammu Kings.
Batting first, Vishal Jammu Kings made 96 runs for the loss of five wickets. Akshit (28), Sachin (27) and Praful (19) runs were the main scorers. For Jammu Rising Stars, Aditpal, Laith and Agastaya shared apiece each.
In reply, Jammu Rising Stars achieved the target in 17.2 overs. Shivansh (30), Laith (23) and Rohan Gill (20) runs were the main scorers. Shivansh was declared as Man of the Match. Today’s match was officiated by the technical panel comprising Sandeep Manchanda, Sanjay and Vinod.
In today’s match, Vijay Aima, senior cricketer and President of AIKS, was the Chief Guest, who accompanied with Rajesh Gill Organising Secretary, DySP Vivek Shekher and Rajesh Dhar interacted with budding cricketers on the occasion.
The Chief Guest assured the budding cricketers that a cricket series is being organised at Delhi for them during forthcoming summer vacations.
