Boy injured after receiving electric shock

NOWSHERA: A 16-year old boy, who came into contact with fallen LT electric conductor of MES, received an electric shock and was seriously injured at Jhangar, Nowshera.
The boy identified as Ritik Sharma, son of Mangat Ram, resident of Jhangar who was returning after his usual visit to Mandir in the evening, suddenly came into contact with a live electric conductor which had fallen on ground, and was seriously injured.
The boy was immediately shifted to Sub District Hospital Nowshera but due to his critical condition he was evacuated to Government Medical College Hospital Jammu.
The villagers strongly criticized the MES department for its utter negligence due to which the son of a poor farmer is struggling between life and death. They demanded that the department should provide financial assistance to the poor family for the treatment of the injured boy.
