JAMMU: Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Security, Dilbag Singh on Friday ordered 35 in-situ promotions in the Security Wing of Jammu and Kashmir Police.
The promotions were approved by Departmental Promotion Committee, which met at Security Headquarters earlier under the chairmanship of DIG Security J and K Alok Kumar.
Felicitating the promoted officials, Dilbag Singh extended his warm greetings to them and hoped that the promotions would encourage workmanship in the cadre.
He exhorted upon them to work with more zest and zeal for the betterment of society in general and police organisation in particular. Promoted officials also expressed their gratitude for issuing orders in time.
The promoted officials include 10 Head constable, 24 Selection Grade Constables and one Constable of Security Wing.
