UDHAMPUR: The Handloom Development Department, Udhampur on Wednesday organised an awareness programme at Chenani which was attended by a large number of weavers across the district.
MLA Chenani Dinanath Bhagat was the Chief Guest on the occasion. The MLA also distributed an amount of Rs.7.50 lakh among 41 weavers under the Comprehensive Handloom Development Scheme. MLA appreciated AD Handloom for organising.
