Chandigarh:- Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh today appointed his three of his loyalists, including close confidante BIS Chahal, as advisors.
Chahal has been appointed as Advisor to the CM in the rank of Minister of State, said an official spokesman. He was the media advisor to Amarinder when he was the chief minister from 2002 to 2007.
The CM also appointed retired Inspector General of Police Khubi Ram as his Security Advisor.
Senior journalist Raveen Thukral, who steered Amarinder’s media campaign in the recent assembly polls, has been appointed as Media Advisor to the Chief Minister, in the rank of Minister of State (MoS).
