UDHAMPUR: A youth attempted suicide by consuming some poisonous substance in his resident in Udhampur on Monday. According to a report, 25 years Rakesh Kumar son of Prem Nath resident of village Mageni in Udhampur took some poisonous substance in his house. On receiving information, police party led by SHO Sanjeev Chib rushed to the spot and shifted victim to District Hospital Udhampur. On seeing his condition critical, doctors referred him to GMC Jammu. Rehmbal police registered a case and launched the investigation.
