SAMBA: Police on Wednesday recovered a minor girl within 12 hours by arresting the kidnapper at Samba.
According to police, a complaint was received from Major Ram son of Paras Ram resident of Naid Tehsil Samba on Wednesday morning that his daughter has been kidnapped by one Monu son of Sat Paul resident of Samlah Tehsil Samba during the intervening night of 14th-15th March 2017 and in this connection a case vide FIR No 49/2017 under section 363 RPC was registered at Police Station Samba.
Thereafter SSP Samba constituted a team under the supervision of Dy.SP Headquarters Samba to trace out the kidnapped girl.
During the course of investigation, police conducted raids at different suspicious locations in and around Samba and Udhampur border as well as in Jammu border and on the tip-off through reliable sources Samba Police recovered the girl from Papad, Mansar. The accused person namely Monu has been arrested and further investigation is going on.
