RAJOURI: Husplote Club lifted the title trophy of the District Rajouri Volleyball Championship which was organised by District Volleyball Association at Government Degree College Thanamandi, Ralouri.
In the final of this three-day event, Husplote Club trounced Degree College Thanamandi in straight sets of 25-21, 25-23, 25-17. Shafqat Hussain and Kaka Khan as also Rashid Iqbal played fine game for the winning team.
Principal of the host Degree College Thanamandi, Shakeel Rana was Chief Guest, who distributed prizes among the winners and runners-up teams. Prominent among others present were Basharat Khan, Ahzar Aziz and Shazad Rana.
The championship was held under the aegis of Volleyball Association of J and K and sponsored by J and K State Sports Council. In this all six teams took part in this competition on knock-out basis.
