JAMMU: Non-Gazetted Police Pensioners Welfare Forum is to organise rally from Bikram Chowk to Secretariat on 6th March 2017 at 10:00 AM to press the government to fulfill their genuine demands.
This was stated by Chairman of the Forum. Ajit Singh in a press conference, here on Friday.
Ajeet Singh condemned the Government Order No. 229-F of 2014 dated 17th October, 2014 and alleged that government has played a joke with the retired policemen.
Ajit lamented that no relief has been provided to the retired police personnel, who were fighting their case since 1996. He demanded release of Rs. 5,93,25,000 in favour of retired ASIs and HCs.
The press conference was also attended by Abdul Ahad, Zakir Hussain, Tarloki Nath Koul, Hari Singh, Moha-mmad Shariff, Hardev Singh, Sukhdev Singh, Ashok Kumar, Kuldeep Singh, Sham Sunder, Karan Singh, Ram-neek Singh, Sham Sunder Sharma and Des Raj.
