Contractual lecturers hunger strike enters day 17

JAMMU: Against the delaying tactics adopted by the State Government regarding the fulfillment of their long demands, contractual lecturers continued their hunger strike, which entered 17th day on Thursday.
Hunger strike by contractual lecturers (10+2) was held in order to alarm the government which is sleeping over the matter. They demanded their regularisation as per the Civil Services Special Provision Act.2010, Rakesh Kumar, Abdul Jabbar Bhat, Rajni and Ranjan Bala also sat on chain hunger strike today. Moreover Abdul Majeed Khan President Low Paid Employees Federation along with his team visited the strike venue and assured of full support.
