JAMMU: The government has extended winter vacation in snow bound areas of the Kashmir valley up to 12th March, 2017.
The schools located in snowbound areas of Machil, Jamgund, Keran, Gurez, Karnah, Kodara, and Hajibal Gogaldara of Kashmir Division shall observe extended winter vacation upto 12th March, 2017, a government order said. The vacation has been extended in view of the apprehensions of avalanche and road connectivity issues in these areas. The schools shall reopen on 13th March, 2017.
