JAMMU: The Excise Department accorded a warm send off to Excise Commissioner Tsering Angchok, who superannuated on Tuesday after rendering over 32 years of illustrious service. Tsering Angchok joined as an Officer in Kashmir Administrative Service (KAS) in 1984 and worked under various capacities as Under Secretary to Government, Planning Department, Deputy Secretary to Governor, ADC Leh and ADDC Jammu, DC Jammu and Leh, and Administrator in Associated Hospitals. After his induction into IAS, he served as Director Handloom and Excise Commissioner, where he conceptualised and executed the Social Responsibility Corpus Fund.
Javed Ahmad Khan, new Excise Commissioner, all Deputy Excise Commissioners, Excise and Taxation officers and staff of the Excise Department attended the function.
