SUNDERBANI: Eight teams would fight to prove their mettle in the two-day volleyball tournament being organised by 72 Battalion Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) under Civic Action Programme at Government High School Kalideh, here.
The tournament was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, D.P Bhardwaj, Second in Command 72Bn CRPF who highlighted the importance of sports in overall development of youths and providing them an opportunity for exhibiting their talent in sports activities.
He said that this event is being organised with an aim to bring the local population especially the youth of Rajouri District together at one platform to display sporting talent.
Deputy Commandant Parvinder Kaur, Assistant Commandant Amar Singh, SM/GD Sudhir Kumar besides other respected citizens of the area graced the opening ceremony.
