JAMMU: In exercise of the powers vested in him under the Jammu and Kashmir Right to Information Act, 2009 (Act No. VIII of 2009), Governor N.N. Vohra has appointed Khurshid A. Ganai. IAS (Retd.) as the State Chief Information Commissioner (CIC).
Ganai’s appointment as Chief Information Commissioner of J&K shall take effect from the date he assumes charge of the post.
