JAMMU: The three-day religious Yatra to Anandpur Sahib and other Gurdwaras will be flagged off from RS Pura Jammu from 31st March.
Talking to media-persons here on Saturday Avtar Singh Khalsa, General Secretary District Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (DGPC) Jammu, said the aim of Yatra is to aware the Sangat about the birth place of Khalsa Panth, history and the day of Baisakhi.
“The Yatra will be conducted under the presidentship of Gurdayal Singh Majotra, President Gurdwara Prabhandak Committee, Gharana with the help of all presidents of local Gurdwara Prabhandak Committee from different Gurdwara Sahibs,” he said.
He said booking of bus tickets will be stopped on 10th March 2017 and booking tickets are available at Gurudwara Shri Guru Singh Sabha, Tangali, Byaspur, Pindi Sarochan, Dewangarh, Birla Nanowali Chakrohi, Gharani, Gharana, Suchetgarh, Floora, Kaloyen and Koulan on payment of Rs 6oo.
Press conference was also attend by Ajeet Singh, Joginder Singh. Jaswant Singh, Bachan Singh, Bhagwan Singh, Avtar Singh, Paramjeet Singh, Mandeep Singh, Harnaam Singh and Karanjeet Singh.
