JAMMU: Sports Training Centre (STC) of the Sports Authority of India (SAI) shall be playing against Jammu District in the final of the Fourth State Handball Championship, organised by J and K Handball Association, MA Stadium, here tomorrow.
Similarly, in the women’s section, Jammu Red shall take on Udhampur District in the title clash, again slated for concluding day tomorrow. The finals shall be followed by the valedictory function at 4:00 PM at the competition venue.
The Results:
MEN: STC Jammu beat district Poonch 19-03 (Rahat eight goals); District Baramulla defeated Rajouri 10-02 (Nissar Ahmed five goals). WOMEN: Udhampur beat Baramulla 12-0 (Shivani three goals); Jammu Red blanked Jammu Dsistrict 10-02 (Kashish Baru four goals).
