JAMMU: Trimurti Shiv Jayanti Mahatsav was held ahead of Mahashivratri celebrations in Jammu by Brahma Kumaris Rajayoga Meditation Center Jammu at Trikuta Nagar Jammu. Candle lighting was performed and Shiv Dhawaj was hoisted on the occasion.
Former Minister and senior Congress leader Raman Bhalla said that God does not create the elements and constituents of nature nor does he create human beings or human souls. “Matter, souls and God are neither created nor destroyed; they are eternal and imperishable”, he added. He asserted that spirituality can remove all psychological disorders like stress, anxiety and depression. “To bring peace in the world we have to adopt universal brotherhood and one God and one family concept. Everyone longs for and continues to work towards attaining peace and happiness. The endeavour remains unfulfilled and the search continues. Our thoughts determine the nature of energy around us. We become what we think. If we think ill for others we too receive the same and similarly if we intend good for others we will also be happy and positive. This campaign is an attempt to make people experience peace in daily life”, he added.
The programme was presided over by Didi Sudarshan and Didi Naina Devi. They threw light on the fact how we can get peace and happiness by creating positive thoughts in our inner soul. Didi Sudarshan said peace and happiness can be activated through Rajyoga Meditation. Bhai V.K Ravinder said that three lines marked on the Shivalinga are known as Tripundi symbolising three-fold characteristics of the Trimurti or the lord of three subtle deities. He threw light on process of getting peace and happiness.
