JAMMU: Shubham Sharma, a trainee of the SAI Training Centre Jammu, has been selected amongst probables for the senior Indian team.
He has become the first player from the State to be named in the senior Indian camp.
His selection has been made on the basis of his performance in the recent national championship held at Puducherry, in which J and K men and women teams put up impressive performance, winning
four out of the seven matches.
Shubham has represented State in several senior and age group national championships and University of Jammu in the inter university championships. He is presently pursuing his B P Ed course from Jammu University.
