UDHAMPUR: Police on Friday rescued 13 bovines and arrested one bovine smuggler in the jurisdiction of Police Post Tikri.
As per the detail, based on reliably information, a Police Party of Police Post Tikri under the command of Sub-Inspector Sanjay Raina In-Charge Police Post Tikri laid a Naka at Tikri NHW and intercepted a Truck bearing Registration No. JK11-5453 and rescued 13 bovines. The accused driver namely Imtiyaz Ahmed son of Gulam Qadir resident of Banihal was arrested on the spot and vehicle seized. A case vide FIR No. 18/2017 under section 188/RPC 3 PCA Act was registered at Police Station Rehambal.
