JAMMU: A placement drive has been conducted on 2nd and 3rd of February at Government Polytechnic Jammu by Tata Motors Limited under Udaan, in which pass-out students of diploma and degree colleges of the State participated.
About 129 students appeared for the written test and interview conducted by Amit Kumar Goel, Head, Skill Development and Training Institute of Tata Motors Ltd.
A total of 24 students were selected for training after which they will be appointed as Trainee Service Managers and Trainee Sales Managers across India. Ritu Jamwal Principal, Government Polytechnic, Jammu initiated the drive and appreciated the efforts of Training and Placement Cell Rajesh Khajuria (Training and Placement Officer), Khalid Sheikh, Mohd Shabir, Rishabh Gupta and Jasdeep Kour for conducting such drives. Ajay Pal Singh from NSDC assisted in mobilising the drive.
