JAMMU: Shakun Shar-ma, daughter of Satish Sharma and Brij Bala and wife of Atul Sharma, resident of Shaheedi Chowk, Jammu, has been declared qualified for the award of the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Sociology by University of Jammu.
She worked on the topic, ‘Women in Urban Governance: A Study of Municipal Corporators/ Councillors in Jammu Division’, under the supervision of Dr Vishav Raksha, Head Depart-ment of Sociology, Unive-rsity of Jammu.
