KATRA: Rotary Club Katra provided assistance to Nidhi Thakur ,a heart patient of aged 4.5 years daughter of Gopal Singh of Bhagla of Reasi District.
Rotary through its local chapter Rotary Club Katra under its flagship project GOL(Gift Of Life ) has chosen Nidhi Thakur to sponsor for heart surgery to be conducted at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute Okhla Road Delhi. It will give a fresh lease of life to the ailing patient. It is pertinent to mention here that Rotary sponsors heart surgeries for poor children upto the age of 16 years free of cost through its flagship project Gift Of Life. Rotary Club members present on the occasion were Rtn. Surinder Dubey ,Rtn.Raj Kumar Dubey,Rtn. Sanjay Maroor, Rtn Ramnik Sharma, Rtn Munish Kapoor, Rtn Anil Verma. Among others present on the occasion were local people who praised the efforts of Rotary Club Katra in saving the life of girl-child Nidhi Thakur.
Rtn Raj Kumar Padha thanked the Addl.CEO SMVD Shrine Board Katra Piyush Singla and Deputy CEO, Arvind Kerwani for the financial assistance and coordination in this particular case.
