AMRITSAR: DAV International School defeated DAV Public School in the opening match of Under-16 Cricket Tournament, organised by Amandeep Cricket Academy, Amritsar. In second match, Rajan-XI Senior defeated ACA-XI. On the second day of tournament, Kaka-XI defeated Rajan-XI (II) by 106 runs. Batting first, Kaka XI set a target of 169 runs in 20 overs. Parth Pathania was the top scorer with 47 runs while Jatin made 20. In reply, Rajan XI was bowled out on 62 runs. Jatin was declared Man of the Match for scoring 20 runs and taking three wickets. In another match, Abhinesh-XI beat Ravi-XI. Abhinesh-XI played a superb game and scored 174 runs for the loss of four wickets. Dhiraj was declared Man of the Match for scoring 76 runs. Harwinder Singh, Kanah Chaudhary, Lovely Arora, Pankaj Chaudhary, Gulshan and Vikram witnessed all the matches.
