BHADARWAH: Police on Tuesday arrested a bootlegger and recovered 38 pouches of liquor from his possession.
According to a report, on a specific information, a Police Party from Bhadarwah Police Station led by SHO Bhadarwah Jatinder Sambyal intercepted a pedestrian on suspicious grounds at New Bus Stand.
On his search, police recovered 38 pouchesof illicit liquor from his possession and arrested the accused. The accused was identified as Shiv Kumar alias Shibbi Son of Nath Ram resident of Kotli, Bhadarwah.
A case vide FIR No 04/2017 under section 48-A Excise Act was registered at Police Station Bhadarwah.
