JAMMU: Mount Litera Zee School (MLZS), a formal school of Zee Learn Limited, launched its first school at Anand Nagar, Bohri, here.
The launching of the school was announced by Parneesh Mahajan, Chairman of the School during a press conference, here on Saturday. “The MLZS aims to empower the children of the city with quality education along with exposure to world class facilities for an overall development. The school will be affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). All the class rooms of the school are fully air-conditioned and are equipped with Interactive White Boards (Smart Classes) and CCTV cameras,” Mahajan informed.
For holistic development of the school, he said MLZS Anand Nagar, Bohri will provide majority of the sports facilities to the students.
“The school will also be conducting a scholarship test in the name of founder Chairman of the Trust late T.R Mahajan on Sunday, 29th January 2017. The test will be of two categories for the age group of 7-10 years,” he said adding that the students will be judged by the combined marks of both the categories. Admission fee of the top 10 students selected will be waived off.
Mukesh Shelat, Regional School Director, Zee Learn Limited also conducted an advisory council meet of the school.
He said that at MLZS, we focus on holistic learning of the child where technology and activities are embedded into the curriculum through their proprietary books, which will ensure that the child has fun as well as learns the subject conceptually making him a lifelong learner who is trained to adapt and succeed in life.
Shelat further added that we would achieve our goal of delivering good quality education to every child of the city. We look forward to work with the people of this city to make MLZS a beacon of excellence for the children of Jammu.
