SUNDERBANI: By the order of Revnue Minister, Sub Division Magistrate (SDM) Nowshera Harbans Lal Sharma removed illegal encroachment from State land along with Tehsildar Nowshera and police force.
The inhabitants of village Lamberi Mohra Dhaira submitted a representation before the Revenue Minister regarding alleged encroachment of State land falling under Khasra number 822 in village Lamberi. Revenue Minister directed the Sub Division Magistrate (SDM) Nowshera to look into the allegations and remove the encroachment, if any at the earliest. SDM Nowshera alongwith Tehsildar Nowshera and concerned revenue field functionaries visited the spot took the cognizance of the matter and found that Mohd Azam and others have illegally encroached 20 Kanals of State land and also constructed a shed falling under Khasra number 822 in village Lamberi.
Taking swift action in the matter in pursuance of directions of Revenue Minister and Deputy Commissioner Rajouri the SDM Nowshera issued order under section 133 of Land Revenue Act and deployed Magistrates and police party to remove the encroachment and demolish the Kaccha sheds made by the said persons illegally on the State land. The concerned revenue field functionaries and police party led by Chowki Officer Lamberi removed the illegitimate encroachment over the said land. The SDM Nowshera has further reiterated that no infringement over the State land shall be allowed in his jurisdiction and strict action shall be taken against the defaulters if any found acting in contravention to the standing instructions of the government in this regard.
