JAMMU: BJP MLA from Akhnoor Rajeev Sharma opposed compensation to the stone pelters, those were killed and injured during the last year stone pelting agitation in Kashmir Valley.
Speaking in the Assembly during Zero Hour, MLA Akhnoor, Rajeev Sharma raised serious concern over the statement of the Chief Minister Mehabooba Mufti to give Rs 5 lakh to all those who were killed in Kashmir unrest last year.
Rajeev said this act will demoralise the nationalist people and the security forces, those are fighting against the Pakistan sponsored terrorism. He said all those who are waging war against the nation must be punished and opposed anti-national move on the government. He asked the Chief Minister to withdraw this decision.
