Jammu: Opposition MLA from National Conference Devendra Singh Rana on Monday accused the BJP MLA Ravinder Raina of visiting the Nagrota terror spot only for ‘photo shoot’ before media. “Earlier Uri happened, then Nagrota and  Khour but BJP is silent over the attacks. We want this House to hold discussion,” Rana said amid ruckus in the House during the ongoing Budget session. Rana said that he was very much present in his Nagrota Constituency for the whole day where terrorists strike the Army camp on November 29.
“My brother Ravinder Raina visited the spot but only for shutterbugs,” said the NC MLA.
He lashed out at BJP MLA from Nowshera Constituency that he remained busy with photo shoot for media and bytes to electronic channels.
Speaker Kavinder Gupta also visited the spot but none other BJP minister or MLAs, who claimed to be nationalist forces, bothered to express concern for soldiers sacrificing lives.
“I was expecting when the House proceedings started that BJP will condemn the Khour attack in which three GREF men died but there was no mention made to this,” he claimed.
He, however, also slammed BJP MLA from Khour Dr Krishan Chander Bhagat for remaining present in the House than the site of attack.
“I was expecting you at encounter site but surprisingly you are in the House,” he rued.
Meanwhile, reacting to Rana’s remarks, BJP MLA and State president Sat Sharma said the party leaders condemned the attack in the morning and called some of the members as ‘Pakistani agents’, the words, which were later expunged by the Speaker.
