The Supreme Court’s order of removing both the president and secretary of BCCI is a landmark judgment. Now onwards, everyone will think twice before disobeying the Apex Court. This order is not only significant for cricket, but also all sports governing bodies. It would be great if the SC takes suo motu decision and forces every sports body to follow its directions. In every sports body, slots should be reserved for outstanding sportsperson of that particular sport. This way we can have a person with practical experience of that sport in administration. Sportspersons usually fail to win an election against influential people.
