R S PURA: Five persons of a family were buried under the debris of a Kacha house which collapsed during wee hours in village Ratian, RS Pura on Sunday.
Immediately on receipt of information the villagers rushed to the rescue of the family and with great efforts they took out the five members in injured condition. All the injured including Sansar Chand, his wife Chanchla Devi and children Sunny, Sahil and Anchal were immediately shifted to Government Medical College Hospital Jammu.
Besides injuries to all the members of poor family, their total house hold items were also damaged. The matter though was brought to the notice of administration, but none visited the spot or the hospital to ask their welfare or assess the loss.
Former Sarpanch of the village Madan Lal Sharma regretted the silence of the administration and demanded immediate relief and compensation to the poor family.
