JAMMU: Secretary, Legislative Council, Abdul Majid Bhat, on Tuesday presented in the House eight bills passed by the legislature and accented by the Governor.
The bills include The Jammu and Kashmir Legal Services Authorities (Amendment) Bill, 2015 (Act No. VIII of 2015), Jammu and Kashmir Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorized Occupants (Amendment) Bill, 2016 (Act No.VII of 2016), Jammu and Kashmir Civic Laws (Special Provisions) (Amendment) Bill, 2016 (Act No. VIII of 2016), State Commission for Backward Classes (Amendment) Bill, 2016 (Act No. IX of 2016), Jammu and Kashmir Brick Kilns (Regulation) (Amendment) Bill, 2016 (Act No. X of 2016), Jammu and Kashmir Chit Funds Bill, 2016 (Act No. XI of 2016), Jammu and Kashmir General Sales Tax (Amendment) Bill, 2016 (Act NO.XII of 2016 and Jammu and Kashmir Panchayati Raj (Amendment) Bill, 2016 (Act No: XIII of 2016).
