CP workers seek regularisation, pending wages

JAMMU: All CP workers of Jammu province working in PHE Department held a protest in front of the Office of the Chief Engineer PHE Jammu on Monday to show their resentment against the government for not fulfilling their demands.
They reiterated their demands which are payment of their long pending wages and regularisation of their services.
CP Workers Union President Kulbhushan Singh warned the government that if their demands are not fulfilled in the ensuing budget session they will be forced to take extreme steps like stopping of water supply in Jammu City on 11th January 2017.
The protest was also addressed by Ranjit Singh (District President CP Workers Samba), Birbal, Manjit Singh, Rakesh Kumar, Aizaz Ahmed, Ranjit Singh Katoch, Mushtaq Ahmed, Raman Khajuria, Kamal Kumar, Kamlesh Basotra, Faqir Chand, Mohd Sharief, Ram Paul and Ashok Singh.
