REASI: Brilliant batting display of Nishu and Rakesh on Sunday guided National Cricket Club Reasi to easy 77-run win against Katra Cricket Club and entered in the final of ongoing District Reasi T20 Cricket Tournament, organised by District Police at Sports Stadium, here on Sunday.
National Cricket Club Reasi, batting first after winning the toss, set a target of 187 runs for the loss of four wickets in 20 overs, courtesy superb 75-run off 44 balls and 57-run off 37 balls innings from Nishu and Rakesh respectively. Sachin also made 24-run off 20 balls. For Katra Cricket Club, Sahil, Nikhil and Jeetu shared apiece.
In reply, Katra Cricket Club failed to chase the target and was bowled out for 109 runs in 17-5 overs. Sahil scored 40-ball 50 runs while Jeetu and Shiva added 24 and 14 runs respectively to the total.
Nishu and Sachin of National Cricket Club took two wickets each while Dev picked one.
For his all-round display, Nishu was declared Man of the Match.
The match was officiated by Vishwajeet and Vikas Sharma as Umpires while Vijay Pal Singh acted as Scorer.
