SRINAGAR: A minor died while sixteen others were injured in different road accidents across the Valley.
In Baramulla, a Tata 407 bearing registration number JK05D-6254 turned turtle at Kuchumukam Chandoosa resulting in injuries to 15 passengers. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
In Kupwara, a Wagon-R bearing registration number JK09A-5156 hit and injured a pedestrian Shamima Begum wife of Abdul Rashid Khoja resident of Bangarpati Dardpora at Batpora, Kralpora. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
In Awantipora, an L.P. Passenger vehicle bearing registration number JK03B- 0753 hit a six years old girl identified as Ainab Ashiq daughter of Ashiq Ahmad Shah resident of Tulbagh near Tulbagh Pampore, resulting in her on spot death.
Police have registered the cases in this regard.
