Ramesh Arora meets CM, discusses students issues

JAMMU: Member Legislative Council (MLC) and senior BJP leader, Ramesh Arora met Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and appraised her about the different problems being faced by students of Jammu and Kashmir studying outside the State under Prime Minister Scholarship Programme.
He also requested to formulate a nodal agency in order to co-ordinate between students, AICTE and Ministry of Human Resources headed by Smriti Irani.
Chief Minister accepted the demand and discussed the issue with Naeem Akhtar, Minister for Education who also assured for every type of assistance. Arora said that AICTE is not clearing genuine cases on one or the other pretext and the parents are under pressure from different collages to pay the fee and other expenditure. Arora also said that every possible step will be taken to redress the grievance of
NIT students and the same was assured by Chief Minister.
