KISHTWAR: Patwar Association Kishtwar on instruction of All Jammu and Kashmir Patwar Association staged protest at Kishtwar against R.S Pura incident.
Protesters staged protest in front of Deputy Commissioner Office Kishtwar against the manhandling of Patwari Halqa Salehar Rakesh Kumar by MLA RS Pura Gagan Bhagat and his associates.They raised slogans in favour of their demands including registration of FIR against MLA and his associates. While speaking on the occasion, Nasir Ahmed President Patwar Association Kishtwar demanded registration of FIR against the manhandling act by MLA R S Pura.”The protest will be held at all Headquarters and The Association has decided to go for an indefinite State level strike if the action is not taken in this regard,” He added.
“We condemn the act of MLA and demand action against the MLA and his associates”, said Abid Mughal Member Association.
NOWSHERA : The members of All J and K Patwar Association Nowshera observed a strike in protest against physical assault to one of their colleague by MLA RS Pura Gagan Bhagat.
District President of the Association Mahesh Kumar and Tehsil President Chander Parkash strongly condemned the physical assault on Patwari and demanded that an inquiry should be held in the case because none can the law in his hand irrespective of his rank and file.The protesters later moved to District Headquarter Rajouri for a joint protest.
KATHUA: On the call of All J and K Patwar Association Province Jammu, all the Patwaris and Girdawars of District Kathua assembled at premises DC Office Kathua under the chairmanship of Sardar Ali District President, All J and K Patwar Association Kathua and held a protest against the manhandling of one of their colleague Rakesh Kumar Patwari, Patwar Halqa Saleher Tehsil Bishnah by MLA Dr. Gagan Bhagat.Prominent among the others who spoke on the occasion includes Jagdish Raj (SQ) Nand Kishore Mehar Singh (Girdawar) Ashfaq Ahmed Batt (Girdawar) Mohan Lal (Girdawar), Latif (Girdawar) Raj Kumar (patwari), Prem Singh (Patwari) Arun Kumar (Patwari) and Kuldeep Kumar (Patwari).
