REASI: A young girl belonging to migratory family made an abortive bid to commit suicide by cutting her veins with a blade in Reasi town on Monday.
According to report the girl identified as Nikita Kumari (18) daughter of Ajit Kumar resident of Chhatisgarh at present Bhimgarh Fort, Reasi made an effort to commit suicide by cutting her veins. The information was given to police by some one and it reached the spot without wasting any time.
The police team headed by SHO Dalip Singh immediately shifted the girl to District Hospital Reasi and she was saved. The reason behind this bid was a simple domestic quarrel within the family.
The people in the area highly appreciated the prompt action on the part of police which saved the life of a girl.
