14th Bn JKAP provides furniture to school

MIRAN SAHIB: As a goodwill gesture under Civic Action Programme, 14th Battalion of JK Armed Police on Monday provided daily use items including 100 chairs, eight dinning tables, one PA System and eight black boards to the inmates residing in the School of Sahyog India. These items were handed over by Anil Kumar Katoch, SSP Commandant of the Bn. during a function, organised at Training and Teaching Centre of Sahyog India at Kotli Arjun Singh, R.S Pura.
Dr. Ashwani Jojra (Founder President of Sahyog India), Dr D.R Kapoor Chairman Sahyog India, Raj Kumar Sharma, T.N Matoo Principal Training and Teaching Centre of Sahyog India, Sagar Anand Gill and other staff members of the school were also present on the occasion. Anil Kumar Katoch described the service done by the teachers, staff and others towards these differently abled children as most noble cause one can perform for the service of mankind on earth. Children from the special school also presented a heart touching cultural items on the occasion.
