Media Xl beats Chohala Cricket Club by one run

JAMMU: In the ongoing Holy Cup 20-20 Cricket Tournament Media Xl on Sunday defeated Chohala Cricket Club by one run in thrilling encounter at Phallian Mandal, here.
After winning the toss, Chohala Cricket Club elected to field first. Media Xl led by skipper Mir Imran, scored 150 runs losing seven wickets in 20 overs. Ashu Kumar played an inning of 37 runs followed by Amit Kumar and Rahul khatri , who made 28 runs each while Mukesh Sharma scored unbeaten 13 runs.In a spirited chase, Chohala Cricket Club scored 149 runs losing nine wickets thereby falling short by one run. Surinder Kaith of Chohala Cricket Club gave a scintillating performance scoring 106 runs off 78 balls. Vipin (9 and indresh kumar (7) were other contributors. Naveen Koul clinched four wickets, while Ashu Kumar took two for Media Xl.
The match was officiated by the technical panel comprising Virender Singh and Babloo as Umpires, Sohan Bharti as Commentator and Raj Kumar as Scorer.
The Chief Guest on the occasion was Subhash Chander, Sarpanch, Mandal. The Man of the Match award was jointly given to Surinder Kaith and Naveen Koul. The coach of Media Xl was Mukesh Sharma, who also clinched one wicket for his team.
