PDP Women Wing starts ‘Ghar Ghar Chalo Abhiyan’

JAMMU: People Democratic Party (PDP) Women Wing in Thursday started ‘Ghar Ghar Chalo Abhiyan’.
To spread the ideology and aims of former Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed in the J&K State, especially in Jammu Division, under the patronage of dynamic Chief Minister of J and K State Mehbooba Mufti, Senior PDP Mahila Wing leader, Geeta Thakur organised a ‘Ghar Ghar Chalo Abhiyan” today at Dogra Chowk, Near Exhibition Ground, here.
Geeta Thakur stated that it was the desire of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed to make J&K-a prosperous, self dependent and advance State in all the positive attitudes.
Thakur, accompanied by a score of senior Mahila Wing leaders, expressed the faith in this programme, under which the leaders of PDP will visit each and every home in Jammu District to spread the ideas, achievements and goals of PDP to make general public aware.
She welcomed the steps taken by Mehbooba Mufti for brining two Women Battallions of J&K Police to strengthen the women empowerment, besides arranging 10 Kg Ration to each rationee, initiating steps for the promotion of Tourism and Industry in J&K State to make it a self dependent State.
She further stated that the PDP has always given upper hand to Jammu region to make it progressive at par with other regions of J and K State and most of the progress was made only during the tenure of late Mufti Mohd Sayeed as Chief Minister of J&K.
She also said, as now Mehbooba Mufti has taken over as CM of J&K State and is also keeping in mind the same motive of progress, equity and overall development in J&K State.
“Mehbooba is also having the same ideology and now fully dedicated to take this State to new horizons of development,” she said.
Others present in the programme were Madhu Gandotra, Bana Chib, Manju Sharma, Rupali Sharma, Radhu, Neha Rajput, Usha Bali and Sushma Sawhney.
