JAMMU: A deputation of residents of village Jagti, Mohalla Simbal-Lehar, Tehsil Nagrota met Minister for Science and Technology and Transport (Independent Charge), Revenue, Public Works (R&B), Sunil Kumar Sharma and demanded macadamisation of road from Jagti to Simbal Lehar which was constructed under PMGSY during the year 2003-04. They also demanded to further extend the aforesaid road to another 5 Km.
Special Assistant to Minister, Prem Singh Chib was also present in the meeting.
Prem Singh Chib assured for completion of above said work within a short time. Ensuring on the spot redressal, he directed the concerned Chief Engineer vide letter dated 20th April 2016 for macadamisation of road from Jagti to Simbal Lehar and construction of 5 Kms road with immediate effect.
Led by Dr. Mohammad Majeed, the deputation comprised of Madan Lal Rana, Shrista Devi, Mahinder Kumar Rana, Joginder Kumar, Shah Mohammad Poswal, and Mohammad Hanif.
